One of the three calls for applications for reimbursement of loan interest suspended

From 6 February 2019, UAB Investicijų ir Verslo Garantijos (Invega) is suspending the call for applications to make use of the global grant instrument ‘Partial reimbursement of interest to enhance the enterprise of small and medium-sized business entities’. The receipt of applications is being suspended since the highest permitted funding amount has been reached. Applications received after the suspension of the call will not be evaluated.

The sum allocated for funding projects under the global grant instrument ‘Partial reimbursement of interest to enhance the enterprise of small and medium-sized business entities’, No. 03.1.1-IVG-T-809, amounts to EUR 21.4 million.

‘Partial reimbursement of interest to enhance the enterprise of small and medium-sized business entities’ has been one of the three instruments of the joint instrument ‘Partial reimbursement of interest’ intended to encourage micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises to develop their activities through borrowing. At present, reimbursement of interest continues for projects designed to increase the productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises and the performance of industrial companies.

A total of 3 295 applications have been received and 2 721 decisions to award grant contracts have been taken since the beginning of the call for applications for reimbursement of interest to enhance the enterprise of small and medium-sized business entities.

With respect to applicants that have received positive decisions of Invega, interest will be reimbursed under the procedure set forth in the decisions.
